Estonian Inter-School Cricket Tournament

Estonia’s first ever inter-school cricket tournament took place at the Hipodroom, Tallinn, on Wednesday 23 September 2009.  The participating schools included English College, Kernu, Int. School and Rocca Al Mare.

Kernu played hard and tried their best but were beaten by their opponent from Tallinn.  The final was a tense, close game with Rocca Al Mare playing against the English College.  Rocca Al Mare batted first and scored a challenging 120 runs in their 20 overs, The English College steadily accumulated runs in their chase of the total - needing 4 runs off the last over they thought they would get them easily, but Rocca pushed them right to the end…

English College were the eventual winners of the inaugural Estonian Inter-School Cricket Tournament, hitting the winning run off the last ball.
